I made a friend!

Isn't it adorable?!?! Poor lil thing was wandering the parking lot with its momma. Baby is super friendly; it kept running up to be held. I had to hold it so a coworker could leave without hitting it. The sacrifices I have to make! ;)

Here is Momma. Momma did not like the baby getting too close, and definitely did not like baby following me around.

It has been a good day for cute kitties! Smokey started to tap the kitchen stool next to the one I was sitting on to let me know that he wanted to sit next to me. I had to move Kirstie's lunch box to the floor for the dork. He was super happy, and well behaved. I was allowed to eat my waffles in peace once I informed him that there was no cheese stick today. 

 I did stitch last night, but apparently I forgot to take a picture. Hopefully, I will get to stitch today, but I am at work, so it could go either way. For now, I must get back to my schoolwork. Why are books so fun to read, unless its a textbook for a required, but sadly not-as-interesting-as-I-thought-it-would-be class?

It finally happened!

Two things actually- I finally stitched done last night, and I was allowed to leave the house on Sunday. No going to church though- our pastor had to quarantine since he had been around us before symptoms were showing. He did a Facebook livestream of the sermon, so we were able to watch that!

He demands his bowl of ice cream. Usually, he will eat it, but not always. He gets mad if I don’t put a little of the chocolate syrup on his icecream, the brat!

The true tragedy

Of this quarantine is that I am out of Oreos. 

Happy Belated Independence Day!

 Smokey says Happy Belated 4th of July! (And don't laugh at my tutu- it was my mom's idea!)

  In other news, we are quarantined. Dad got sick, and now Mom and I are. On the up side, all of us are doing a lot better. On the down side, the 3 of us did test positive for Covid-19, so now we are in quarantine. Kirst is negative, but she is still quarantined for now. I haven't done any stitching yet, but I am hoping to remedy that soon.

Me Earlier...

Good morning!

Good morning! Just a  quick update while I wait for 8:00 to hit so I can go home. Today my Psych 101 class starts. I'm kind of excited for this class- it should be interesting. Here are what the critters have been up to lately: 
His ribbon slid down and he couldn't care less yesterday morning. All he knew is that he got up early and deserved treats!

Just about time, so I am going to go. No recent pictures of my stitching, and, frankly, very little progress. Hoping to change that soon! I've got PALS skills testing tomorrow, so wish me luck!

Mama Bok Bok

Mama Bok Bok is beginning to exist! All of the baby Bok boks are finished, plus their umbrella will keep them dry if it rains tonight!

 Smokey is doing well. He was excited when he saw me cleaning off my rocker on Saturday. I had to rock him on Sunday after church. He was so happy!

 I hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day. Thank you to all who gave their lives for our freedom. Saying thank you seems so trite compared to your sacrifice, but words can not repay the debt we owe to you.
